Damn. I still have to fix the stupid clock. But since I still haven't fixed it, who's the stupid one?
While procrastinating over mundane tasks, I'm bouncing (@ 10:30PM on a Sunday the 14th - I swear) to: Diffrent People from the album "Tragic Kingdom" by No Doubt.
It happened. The Browns made their flight, arrived in very warm Miami and then took the car to their home in Lighthouse Point and didn't run once. Of late, the increasingly popular joke (that Sybille and I coined by the way) is, "There they go. The Browns are running again."
We're late for everything, or so it seems. Actually, that's not true. We're on time, nearly, for everything. But only because we run. Efficient use of time, I say. If I can make the same flight having slept 30 minutes more than the other guy; and if I make that flight due to my willingness to run through the airport, I say, "I win." Time is what you make of it. Did the other guy enjoy his leisurely stroll through the airport? I know I enjoyed the extra 30 minutes of sleep.
But today, we didn't run. We didn't have to...although we were the last ones on the plane. But that was only because we spent some extra time with Sybille's parents in the bye-bye bar. Again, time is what you make of it.
While writing this, I played: Hazy Shade of Winter from the album "The Essential Bangles (Remastered)" by The Bangles.
PS: As per Othmar's notice that I post entries at all times of day: @3AM for example, I have to confess that while sometimes this is true, the more accurate truth is that I need to tell my posting software (ecto) and my server where and when I am...meaning it doesn't always know that I'm in Europe or the US, which are six hours apart. But I need to fix this, or get rid of it, as it bothers me too.
PPS: For example, I'm writing this @ 11PM EST...and it says (something else) only after I tried to manually change it 4 times, (via EST+6, GMT-18, etc). Whatever it is, its wrong.
